       In the eighteenth century (from 1750) the so-called Industrial Revolution began in England, characterized by the intense use of steam-powered machines, the division of labor as a result of the specialization of labor and the use of salaried labor.

        As a consequence, a great increase of the production of commodities occurred, which multiplied the profits and raised the concentration of the capital. Industry has become the main economic activity of the capitalist system. The development of industrial capitalism has further increased international trade, since the increase in production has made it necessary to search for new consumer markets for raw materials. This period marked the phase called INDUSTRIAL CAPITALISM.

       No século XVIII (a partir de 1750), teve início na Inglaterra a chamada  Revolução Industrial, caracterizada pelo intenso uso de máquinas movidas a vapor, pela divisão de tarefas como resultado da especialização do trabalho e pelo emprego de mão-de-obra assalariada. 

        Como consequência, ocorreu um grande aumento da produção de mercadorias, o que multiplicou os lucros e elevou a concentração do capital. A indústria tornou-se a principal atividade econômica do sistema  capitalista. O desenvolvimento do capitalismo industrial fez ampliar ainda mais as trocas internacionais, já que o aumento da produção tornou necessária a busca de novos mercados consumidores de matérias-primas. Esse período marcou a fase chamada de CAPITALISMO INDUSTRIAL.
